Congratulations on receiving an offer to study at UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies. You have all been carefully selected as candidates who we think will excel at SSEES and who will contribute to the vibrant interdisciplinary environment at UCL. You should be very proud of your achievement.
We hope that you will choose to study with us. If you do, you’ll be joining an institution with a rich history of developing expertise on a critical world region, one that has been addressing problems of global magnitude for more than one hundred years. UCL SSEES is one of the leading centres in the United Kingdom for Slavonic Studies, and we attract outstanding and motivated undergraduates from around the globe to study here. We have a long list of successful alumni who have made stellar contributions in government, policy, journalism, media, business, academia, and much more.
In the continued uncertainty of the pandemic, I want to reassure you that UCL remains committed to providing a stimulating and safe learning experience for all of our current and future students. Over the past year, all of us have adjusted as best and as quickly as we could to deliver a world-leading education experience, and we are excited at the possibility of you joining us at UCL SSEES. We have learned to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances without sacrificing educational quality. The health and well-being of all of those in our community remains our top priority, and we hope that wherever you are, you and your family are safe and well.
UCL is working hard to provide guidance and clarification for all of our prospective students, and we will keep you up to date as and when possible. Please check the UCL web page for our response to the Covid-19 situation which is frequently updated.
This site is dedicated to UCL SSEES Undergraduate and Postgraduate Offer Holders and is designed to show you highlights from our events, introductions to the outstanding achievements of our staff, and links to helpful pages – all in one place.
