Studying Politics & Sociology at UCL SSEES
Our Politics, Sociology and East European Studies BA invites you to explore the big questions in politics, with a focus on the region of Russia and Eastern Europe. You will learn about social and political change; cover topics on security; international relations; justice; migration and gender and can also opt to spend a year abroad.
You’ll learn what is democracy, who exercises power in society and why some societies are unequal, taught by leading experts in the field and equipping you with skills and knowledge that place our graduates in global careers including diplomacy, NGOS, think-tanks, media and law.
Interested in studying with us at the UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES)? Our online taster lectures are aimed at sixth form students who are interested in studying with us at undergraduate level.
On Thursday 14th January, Dr Agnieszka Kubal will be presenting a one off online politics lecture aimed at students interested in our politics BA programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet a SSEES academic, learn more about the programme and experience what it’s like to study at one of the world's very best universities.
