Three months into the course, I can without hesitation say that pursuing a Masters degree at SSEES was a fantastic decision. Academic opportunities abound, with access to professors who are world experts in their field, and a curriculum to satisfy everyone’s niche. For me, however, SSEES’ Post Soviet Press Group - a forum for sharing and discussing news from around the states of the former Soviet Union - is the highlight. As I am looking to go into a career of political analysis, this resource allows for constant engagement with modern-day politics to an extent that a structured curriculum cannot match.
