"Being at UCL SSEES for my 2nd year now, I see how the SSEES environment has changed and developed me as a person. Our lectures are taught by world-class academics, who encourage us to think critically and independently about current events. And because SSEES is so diverse with people from all over the world, we always have great conversations (and sometimes arguments) going on. The area-based nature of our courses is a great advantage, as we can apply theoretical political and sociological concepts to real events in Russia, Central or East Europe.
