Module Outline

The aim of the module is to provide an introduction to the sociological perspective and to offer theoretical tools for understanding the modern world. The module discusses the sociological understanding of key terms including society, culture, economics, state, modernity, class, agency, structure, ideology, power, and the main theorists associated with these key concepts.
