Russian and Post-Soviet Politics MA Structure

Compulsory and Elective Modules for the MA Russian and Post-Soviet Politics MA. All students take 180 credits in total. Please note that elective lists are not exhaustive.

Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits. The programme consists of a core module in Russian Politics (30 credits)' a core option on another aspect of Russian or post-Soviet politics (15 or 30 credits); a research dissertation (60 credits); and additional options to a value of up to 75 credits.

Dissertation/report

All MA students undertake an independent research project, which culminates in a dissertation of 10,000-12,000 words.
