Dr Ernesto Gallo (UCL SSEES) presents this seminar focusing on changes in the state in Central Asia (especially, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan), in a world with new big players (China, India) and re-emerging ones (Russia, Iran), as part of UCL SSEES's Social Sciences Research Students seminar series. 

Ernesto Gallo is an Affiliate Researcher at UCL SSEES and researches the State in Central Asia with focus on Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Since completing his PhD in Political Science: International Relations at the University of Turin, he has published on several International Politics issues, including in peer-reviewed journals, and has worked as a lecturer at KCL, Birkbeck, Brighton, Birmingham and Sussex Universities.
