Join us for the first seminar of the year for a talk by Sheila Fitzpatrick on Stalin’s Team in the Great Purges: Perpetrators and Potential Victims, and the launch of her book, On Stalin’s Team: The Years of Living Dangerously in Soviet Politics (Princeton University Press, 2015).

On Stalin's Team…

Sheila Fitzpatrick is Professor of History at University of Sydney and the Bernadotte E. Schmitt Distinguished Service Professor Emerita at the University of Chicagoand the author of many books on the Soviet Union, including The Russian RevolutionEveryday StalinismTear Off the Masks!, and a memoir of Moscow in the 1960s, A Spy in the Archives.

The talk launches her recently published book, On Stalin’s Team: The Years of Living Dangerously in Soviet Politics. Order forms will be available at the event should you wish to order a copy, and a limited number of books will be available to purchase at a drinks reception following the talk.
