SSEES Finalist Publishes Article Based on Fieldwork in Russia

SSEES Finalist Sofia Danailov Esteban has published her article after doing her fieldwork in Russia.

The article, titled "Warfare of the Unsayable: Language as Psychological Warfare in Soviet and Modern Russia", studies "the linguistic routes of manipulation and coercion of individual and collective freedoms that Russia has taken since the Soviet Union until our contemporaneity".

Sofia's approach is based on George Orwell and Ludwig Wittgenstein's theoretical frameworks. Click here to read Sofia's article.
