Our undergraduates have been making the most of their summers by working on meaningful projects across the globe. Check out some of the amazing things they've been up to!
Manping Yu, Politics and Sociology student, spent three weeks in Bosnia, teaching on the Mostar Summer Youth Programme.
Nathalie (Xiaoru) Cen, History, Politics and Economics student, took part in the prestigious Harvard Ukrainian Summer Institute, a 7-week programme offering intensive university instruction in Ukrainian studies at Harvard University.
Ryem Khanin, Politics, Sociology and East European Studies student, was accepted as a UCL Laidlaw Scholar in March 2024 and has been developing his own independent research project on the impact of Russian disinformation about Ukraine on U.S. audiences.
Sara Romai and Gustavo Alves de Albuquerque were also accepted as 2024 UCL Laidlaw Scholars and have been working on their independent research projects this summer. Stay tuned to learn more about their exciting work in the coming months!
