New Publication: A Form of Friendship: Museum on the Square

Dr Michal Murawski's latest book, A Form of Friendship: Museum on the Square, (University of Chicago Press), explores the multi-vocal story about the creation of the building of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

Featuring conversations with experts in art, architecture, and activism, the book explores history, space and context; “spatio-temporal and infrastructural nexus” in which the new Museum exists, and proposes an institutional  “ideology” to emerge from it.

The book launched in Warsaw on 5 November with further launches to be confirmed. The publication can be purchased via Chicago University Press and the Warsaw Museum of Modern Art website.
