'Forged In War': Prof Galeotti publishes latest book

Honorary Professor at SSEES, Mark Galeotti has published his new book: 'Forged in War: A military history of Russia from its beginnings to today' (Osprey Publishing). 

His latest book explores a 'history of how war and insecurity, both real and perceived, have driven Russia's destiny for centuries, including the disastrous invasion of Ukraine.'

As well as holding an Honorary Professorship at SSEES, Mark runs the consultancy Mayak Intelligence, is a Senior Non-Resident Fellow of the Institute of International Relations Prague, and an Associate Fellow at the Council on Geostrategy.
