SSEES Academics Awarded Grant by the UCL Centre for Humanities Education

Dr Eszter Tarsoly and Dr Jelena Calic, both Associate Professors (Teaching) at UCL SSEES, have been awarded a prestigious grant by the UCL Centre for Humanities Education. This grant, generously funded by the Lord Randolph Quirk Endowment Fund at UCL, was awarded in response to a call for developing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives related to socio-economic equity and education.

The funds will be used to organise a symposium titled ‘Lessons from the Margin: Roma Inclusion in Education,’ due to take place in September 2024. Full details to be confirmed.
