Dr Péter Berta has won a distinguished scholarly publication award

We are very pleased to announce that Honorary Research Associate Dr Péter Berta's book ‘Materializing Difference: Consumer Culture, Politics, and Ethnicity among Romanian Roma’, which he worked on while at SSEES, has won “The 2020 Consumers and Consumption Distinguished Scholarly Publication Award” awarded by the Sociology of Consumers and Consumption Section of the American Sociological Association. The book was published by University of Toronto Press in 2019 and the Foreword was written by Fred R. Myers. Congratulations!
