Prof Andrew Wilson at European Parliament

Andrew Wilson, Professor in Ukrainian Studies at SSEES, gave the keynote speech at 'Belarus 2018: the voice of the civil society', which took place 5 June 2018 at European Parliament in Brussels. 

Prof Wilson's speech, entitled 'Softy, Softly Belarus' analysed how Belarus has, and is, changing its relationship with the EU. The full speech can be read on the SSEES Research Blog.

As well as Ukraine, Andrew’s area of expertise is the comparative politics of democratisation in the post-Soviet states and political technology. He is a Senior Policy Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations
