On 14 November the Centre for South East European Studies at SSEES hosted the book launch of  A Portrait of the Artist as a Political Dissident: The Life and Work of Aleksandar Petrović, by Dr Vlastimir Sudar, (University of the Arts, London).

Bojan Aleksov (UCL SSEES) chaired the discussion with Kieron Corless, deputy editor of Sight & Sound magazine and Irena Bilic, Artistic Director of L’Europe Autour de L’Europe Film Festival in Paris. The event was attended by numerous friends and admirers of the late much celebrated Yugoslav and Serbian film director, including his sister Radmila Petrović, who came from Paris for the occasion.
