Lingua Polonica Prize 2013

Congratulations to Cecila Pytel, (Politics and East European Studies) who received the Third Prize in Lingua Polonica Prize 2013 awarded by the Polish Ambassador in London. 

This year’s task was to write an essay in English on the topic “What Can Polish Culture Offer outside Poland?” The jury panel was made up of Dr Ewa Ochman, (Manchester);  Ursula Phillips, (UCL SSEES) and Katarzyna Zechenter (UCL SSEES).

First Prize was awarded to  Katarzyna Zielińska, (St Anne’s College, Oxford) and the Second Prize went to Aleksandra Ziemiszewska (SOAS).
