Dr Dušan Čaplovič, former Deputy Prime Minister of Slovakia with special responsibilities for the knowledge-based society, minorities and human rights met with the then President & Provost Malcolm Grant. He then attended an informal gathering of SSEES academics to discuss cooperation between SSEES and Slovak universities on the themes of innovation and entrepreneurship.
