Primary sources 

  • E-KINAS - Digital archive of Lithuanian documentaries provides free access to digitised documentary film heritage accumulated in the Central State Archive of Lithuania. The digitised collection spans from 1918 to 1990.                    
  • LiDA - The database provides virtual digital infrastructure where researchers can deposit, search, browse, make online analyses and download more than 600 quantitative and qualitative social sciences and humanities data sets. 
  • Vilnius University Library Digital Collections - The digital collections of Vilnius University include digital copies of documents from the rare book, manuscript, graphic art and museum collections. Digitised items include photographs, maps, architectural plans, prints, books, diaries, and other documents of historic value. Users can search by keyword or browse by collection.
  • Virtualios Parodos - The portal provides access to virtual exhibitions of State Archives of Lithuania. The exhibitions cover subjects such as historical events, literature, and arts.

  • Duomenų bazė Lituanistika - Database “Lituanistika” (LDB) is an international research database providing bibliographic records, abstracts and full-text documents about the Lithuanian state, society, culture, nation and language. It collects scholarly research on Lithuanian studies from more than 70 countries. Subjects include: philosophy, religion, the arts, linguistics and languages, literature, history, ethnology, law, political science, management, economics, sociology, psychology, education, information and communication studies.
  • ePaveldas - A digital portal providing access to digitized collections of books, periodicals, manuscripts, museum objects, graphics, maps, and sound recordings. The digitised collection comprises of books in Lithuanian of the 16th-20th c. and Lituanica publications; old periodicals, cartographic publications issued both in Lithuania and by expatriate communities; small publications, e.g. government orders, decrees, proclamations, posters, bills; and numerous other documents reflecting various time periods. The portal is created by leading Lithuanian libraries and archives.             
  • Lietuvos Akademinė Elektroninė Biblioteka eLABa (eLABa) - The national academic repository provides open access to research output from Lithuania including journal articles, conference and workshop papers, theses and dissertations, reports and working papers, books, chapters and sections. The repository provides access to online institutional repositories as well as catalogues of 49 academic libraries.
  • Vilnius University Open Access Scientific Journals - A database of open access and free electronic resources provides access to Lithuanian scientific journals and databases.;
  • Vilniaus universiteto virtualioje bibliotekoje - Vilnus University Institutional Repository - The repository provides open access to research output from Vilnus University.
