Trail 3: Latvian points of interest in London

785a Commercial Road

In 1906 a couple of Latvians (Ernests Minka and Anna Priekšstate) who travelled from Tsarist oppressions, opened a store in London at 785 a Commercial Road. It was the first Latvian owned store and many Latvians enjoyed to spend their time there because it was possible to meet everyone and collect all news regarding Latvians in London.
