Gerda Dalipaj is an anthropologist and co-founder of Qendra e Kerkimeve Historike dhe Antropologjike – Center for Historical and Anthropological Research, Albania. She is finalising her PhD dissertation at the Institute of Mediterranian Ethnology IDEMEC, Aix-Marseille University. She has been a full time researcher at Institute for Cultural Anthropology and Arts’ Studies, Tirana (2004-2010). Her research interests include anthropology of home, migration studies and anthropology of postsocialism, with specific focus on informal urban areas.
