The Global Atlas of Social and Cultural Complexity will be the first multimedia online resource focused on under-researched practices which are often seen as non-transparent or hidden to an outsider. It will include research presented in all workshops (we include examples of individual entries for each workshop and can provide samples of entries on request), and rely on the growing community of scholars working in the area of informality, cultural opposition, invisibility, as well as the advanced digital humanities approaches to intangible realities. This project will collect FRINGE artefacts, images, as well as forms of representation of the invisible, and create an online resource based and curated at SSEES, perhaps with help of the Information Studies/Centre for Digital Humanities. It will provide a platform for the submission of entries from across the globe, thus creating sustainability of the collection. It will be a comprehensible, easily accessible online resource targeting not only the academic community, but also policy makers, businesses, creative communities and the public. It can be developed into a teaching and learning tool for interdisciplinary courses
