SSEES Alumni Association: Utopia Ltd at GRAD gallery

SSEES Alumni Association invites SSEES Staff and Students to a special evening viewing of Utopia Ltd at GRAD gallery.

GRAD (Gallery for Russian Arts and Design) is a new, not-for-profit gallery not far from SSEES. Utopia Ltd exhibits model maker Henry Milner’s three-dimensional re-imaginings of pioneering geometric designs by the early Soviet Constructivists, El Lissitzky, Aleksandr Rodchenko, Vladimir Tatlin and Gustavs Klucis.

The artist, Henry Milner, will speak about his work for the exhibition and the curator Professor John Milner of the Courtauld Institute will give a talk.

The gallery will be available to us till 7.30pm. Afterwards we hope to find a suitable venue for Christmas drinks! Entry to the event is free, but we will be taking optional plate donations for a Chernobyl children's charity
