Alisa Musanovic - IMESS History and Society
“Studying the IMESS programme has allowed me to pick and choose from a variety of disciplines, providing me with a degree experience unlike any other. Following my History Bachelor’s degree, IMESS has allowed me to study modules ranging from sociology, to literary theory, to languages. The sheer amount of methodological choice has helped shape my academic interests further, giving me a clearer idea of where I’m headed next.
Aside from the freedom that this degree has given me, the best thing about this programme has been the fact that the second year is spent abroad at one of IMESS’s partner universities.
I am currently studying at the University of Helsinki in Finland, and this has introduced me to an exciting new world and way of life, and I will forever be grateful for this amazing opportunity that has been made possible for me due to the IMESS programme.
