Assessment Changes Spreadsheet

Updated versions of the Assessment Change Spreadsheets for 2026/27 will be shared via Faculty Teams channels in early June. 

This spreadsheet is used to record any known changes to assessments for modules taking place in the next academic year. You will be able to indicate: 

• Assessment weighting changes 
• Changes to methods of assessment 
• Changes to component name
• Changes to standard DAP mitigations 

It is particularly important to use the correct Assessment Type Code (AST) when making your updates. These codes are define the available mitigations in the Extenuating Circumstances, Delayed Assessment Scheme, and Reasonable Academic Adjustment processes. 

For details of the AST Codes, the associated mitigations, and penalties for late submissions can be found in the Assessment Operating Matrix in Chapter 4 of the Academic Manual. 

Faculties will have until 15 July to approve any changes before the spreadsheet is locked and the data uploaded to Portico. Departmental deadlines will be earlier to allow time for Faculty review and approval. 

Please note that this will be your last opportunity to make chance to the assessments for the 2026/27 and ensure that these are accurately recorded in the Module Catalogue.
