Lesley Dingley has joined UCL as Head of Curriculum Information Management Services
Lesley Dingley recently joined UCL as Head of Curriculum Information Management Services (CIMS) within Student and Registry Services. She brings over twenty years’ experience in higher education, at the University of Nottingham, where she held a number of senior roles across Registry and Academic Affairs, including Head of Curriculum and Head of Student Records.
At Nottingham, Lesley led institution wide work on curriculum governance, approvals and change processes, student records lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance, including major policy development linked to UKVI requirements, timetabling integrity, and assessment framework reform. She also worked closely with faculty and institutional committees on programme structure, qualification framework alignment, and large scale curriculum change initiatives.
As Head of CIMS, Lesley will focus on strengthening UCL’s curriculum data as a core institutional service, supporting the development of consistent curriculum structures and processes, and working closely with colleagues across academic and professional services to improve the way curriculum information supports approval, publication, student choice and operational delivery. A key early priority will be supporting implementation of CourseLoop and embedding sustainable curriculum lifecycle practices across the institution.
She has been an active contributor to sector networks including Higher Education User Group (HEUG) and Student Record User Group (SRUG), and brings extensive experience of working at the intersection of curriculum policy, student systems and regulatory compliance to support institutional transformation.
