New Head of Curriculum Information Management (CIM) Services

Welcome to Our New Head of Curriculum Information Management (CIM) Services

We are pleased to announce that Kate Ruffell has joined UCL as our new Head of Curriculum Information Management Services.

Kate brings over fifteen years of experience in higher education administration and student systems. She joins us from University of the Arts London (UAL), where she served as Deputy Head of Student Systems and Records Operations, leading teams responsible for data quality, student systems support, and immigration compliance.  Prior to UAL, Kate held positions at King's College and spent nearly ten years at Queen Mary University of London in various academic registry roles.

As Head of the recently formed CIM Services team, Kate will be focussing on embedding the team within UCL, and building strong relationships across departments. She will also be overseeing the implementation of the new Courseloop software, which promises to streamline curriculum development processes and improve data integrity. This platform will enable more efficient course design, approval workflows, and curriculum mapping while providing better visibility of information for all stakeholders.
