The 2026 Entry Undergraduate Prospectus Is Live!
7 March 2025
95% of undergraduate programmes were live at launch, ready for the first fair of the 2026 recruitment cycle.

The Prospectus contains information about more than 400 degree programmes and aims to attract the brightest undergraduate students from the UK and overseas to study at UCL, while showcasing the many ways in which UCL is an innovative, exciting and world-leading university. The Undergraduate Prospectus was published in time for the first UK University Search fair of the new recruitment cycle (Surrey, 4 March). Printed copies of the Prospectus are available at events hosted or attended by UCL.
We are happy to say that 95% of programmes were advertised fully with all marketing content at launch, compared to last year’s 81%. These improvements can be partially attributed to changes implemented by VPEE Publications this year, including early submissions, copy clinics and updated guidance documents, which helped minimise delays and strengthened compliance with CMA guidelines.
We really value the cooperation of the Faculty Communications and Marketing teams in achieving this, as well as programme summary editors across UCL – the Prospectus requires collective effort, and we appreciate everyone’s hard work. Similarly, we are immensely grateful to colleagues in Digital Experience, Student Operations (particularly Portico Governance and Curriculum Information Management Services), Admissions, Compliance, and Student Fees for their continued support.
The copy call process for the 2026/27 Graduate Prospectus will take place between Monday 19th May and Friday 18th July 2025. This is around two months earlier than normal. The decision has been made to move the exercise forward to allow the Graduate Prospectus to be published earlier: in August rather than in October. This will bring us in line with other leading universities and increase student recruitment, by targeting highly qualified candidates active early in the cycle and giving more time for conversion.
The VPEE Publications team will soon be in touch with Marketing colleagues who complete the copy call and other impacted members of staff to provide more information and guidance on the date move. Please contact the VPEE Publications team in the meantime if you have any questions.
