Timeline for updating the 2025/26 Module Catalogue

The 2025/26 Module Catalogue will be refreshed and republished between Monday 18 and Thursday 21 August 2025 to reflect Faculty requirements following the summer exam boards. Although the catalogue will be unavailable during this period, staff will be able to download the equivalent content via Portico using the Module Information Documents task in Curriculum Data Maintenance.

This refresh will ensure that the Module Catalogue contains the latest information about the modules running in 2025/26 and will inform new student module selection which opens on Monday 8 September.

In this updated edition, percentage weightings for assessment components will continue to be combined where the module catalogue categories are the same. To provide greater clarity, the number of assessments will also now be displayed. For example:

• 10% Coursework
• 10% Coursework
• 5% In-class activity
• 10% In-class activity
• 65% Exam

will be displayed as:

• 20% Coursework (2 assessments)
• 15% In-class activity (2 assessments)
• 65% Exam
