Coming soon: New and improved Interruptions workflow

We are redesigning the Interruptions workflow on Portico.  

This will provide a simpler, more intuitive process for students and staff. The look and feel of the Interruptions workflow will be very similar to the Programme Transfer and Programme Withdrawals workflows, providing consistency in user experience for staff and students across Change of Circumstances.   

We are consulting our Change of Circumstances Faculty Champions (with representation from each faculty) as we design and develop the new workflow.  

We plan to launch the new workflow for taught students in advance of the start of session September and an enhanced return to study process will follow. We will provide staff briefings and guidance prior to this (more information to follow).  

We are also working with the PGR teams to agree some minor adaptations to enable the PGR Interruptions process (currently paper based) to also use the workflow. We anticipate that the PGR workflow will be in place from October.
