Recent improvements to the Interruptions workflow

We have made some improvements to the department view on the current Interruptions workflow with a simplified set of Assessment Status options in the Return to Study plan section (6 options reduced to 4). Guidance on each of these is provided below and also linked directly from the Return to Study Plan section of the workflow on Portico. 

We have updated our staff Interruptions webpages to reflect these changes and provide current guidance, including a new return to study process guide, and FAQs.

In 2025, as part of a longer term improvement initiative, we will be developing a new Interruptions request and management workflow which aligns with the Programme Transfers / Withdrawals workflows. Communications and guidance will follow on this.
