Programme Amendment deadline for 2023/24 implementation
18 March 2022
The deadline for submitting programme amendments for implementation in 2023/24 is Friday 10th June 2022
Deadline
The deadline for submitting programme amendments, to be implemented in 2023/24, is Friday 10th June 2022.
The online Programme Amendment Form, which will be accessed via Portico, is still under development and it is anticipated that this work will be ongoing into the Summer/Third term. As such, programme amendment submissions for implementation in 2023/24 should be submitted on the current version of the Programme Amendment Form (UCL Academic Manual Chapter 7, Annex 7.4.1).
As always, we would encourage departments and faculties to submit programme amendments prior to the deadline in order to expedite the approval process and avoid bottlenecks around the deadline date.
Any programme amendment submissions received from Saturday 11th June 2022, will be implemented for the 2024/25 academic year unless there are exceptional circumstances which mean that it must be implemented for 2023/24. Please note that there is a separate process for the approval of late programme amendments which must evidence a robust rationale as to why the amendment must be made for 2023/24, despite it being submitted after the deadline.
Online Programme Amendment Form
Please note that, once the online PAF goes live, whilst the PAF will be an online form and the Programme Summary will also be populated on Portico, other supplementary documents such as module amendment forms, module proposal forms, the External Scrutineer Report (or an email confirming the External Scrutineer’s approval) etc. will need to be completed outside of the Portico environment and uploaded as PDFs on the system.
