PGT Results Day and information for up-coming PGT re-assessment period
15 December 2022
Details of the number of results/awards released on PGT results day, and timeframes for processing late results and when mark entry will be open for entering reassessment/deferral marks for the PGT re-assessment period
On PGT Results Day, the Student Records Team released 14,029 results of which 10,685 of these were awards.
Since results day a further 443 results of which 274 were awards, have been processed and released to students.
The student records team will continue to check daily for results and awards that have received approval following a late Exam Board/Sub Board or Chair’s Action, and release these to students up until the Christmas closure.
Mark entry has now been closed for all 2021 modules that had results approved at a November Exam Board meeting. Only in the following cases can we enable changes to 2021 module results:
- Marks that were not available at the time of the main November board, and therefore the student does not yet have a confirmed progression outcome.
- Marks need to be changed due to errors, late ECs, or an irregularity
Please add such cases to your faculty query management logs and these will be dealt with individually, so please provide the student number and the reason why the results need to be changed.
For students whose progression outcome from a PGT Exam Board was reassessment or deferral (including extensions to submission deadlines), these results should be taken to a Sub-Board during the PGT Re-assessment period: Monday 13 February – Friday 24 February 2023.
Mark entry for the PGT re-assessment period will re-open at the beginning of Term 2. An announcement will be posted on Faculty Teams channels when mark entry has re-opened, at which point you will be able to enter marks for resits and deferrals and calculate the student’s award (where applicable).
Please refer to the schedule for PGT results release for further details on timelines and additional information regarding degree documentation and verification services available for students.
