Extension Request Form for External Examiners

In order to effectively process External Examiner extension requests in a timely manner, we request that colleagues complete the new extension request form and no longer submit details via email to the examiners mailbox.

We also advise that colleagues consult their Faculty Tutors prior to completing the extension request form and seek their approval for the proposed extension.  

Some information required for completing the form can be found within the ‘Board of Examiners’ container on Portico (within the Awards, Assessments and Achievements tab): 

NB: PG External Examiners complete their duties after the Final Board has met and therefore are still active for the current 2020-21 External Examining session for BoE meetings that occur during this Autumn term (2021). There is no need to request an extension for those External Examiners to complete the forthcoming PG BoE meeting, even if this meeting takes place after 31st August 2021.
