Admissions Updates

Section 2.1.5.

The AccessUCL scheme has been updated to include Acorn data as a criterion.  In addition, applicants are now required to meet one criterion rather than two and the amount of time to qualify as a care leaver has been clarified.

Section 2.5.1.

The English language requirements have been updated to allow students coming from the EU on a partnership/exchange agreement to meet only the UKVI minimum requirement for English rather than the UCL “standard level”.  Previously, these students would have been admitted without an English language condition but as they will now require a visa, an English condition must be attached to their entry.

Section 3.9.

We have altered the wording to reflect the UCAS move away from the 15 January deadline, to a changing deadline each year.

Section 3.11.

We have introduced a new policy to address applicant behaviours, particularly on social media.  This closes a policy gap where previously we had no power to challenge applicants on inappropriate behaviour.

Section 4.2.

We have altered wording to reflect that enrolment now takes place online rather than in person.
