25 March – 12 April 2019: Faculty Exam Board Briefings

The next phase of the Academic Model Project looking at exam board changes will involve a series of briefing events for exam board chairs, faculty observers, examination liaison officers, and other interested departmental colleagues. These briefings will include feedback from the recent consultation exercise and provide an update on the new regulations and system improvements and resulting changes to Exam Board processes, as well as an opportunity to discuss best practice with colleagues.

90 minute briefing sessions are being arranged for each faculty to take place between 25 March and 12 April 2019.  As soon as arrangements have been confirmed, further details will be circulated by each faculty and posted on the Academic Services website.

Please note that these are high level briefings aimed particularly at chairs, faculty representatives and board administrators. More technical training for staff involved in processing marks and running reports will be organised separately.
