Extended access for undergraduate finalists in LSA period
28 June 2019
Learn more about arranging the right access for your students
If you have any final year undergraduate students with extenuating circumstances or deferrals, please liaise with your Faculty to ask them to approve their extended access. Student Records will extend students' expected end dates to 15 July on receipt of the request from your Faculty.
This extension will give time for the progression process to take place, so the formal outcome of Exam Boards can be reflected on students’ records if they will be going into the Late Summer Assessment period. The progression process will update the expected end dates at that point to 22 September 2019 (ie the very last day of the 2018 academic session).
If you have any final year undergraduate students who need access for reasons other than their continued assessment, they will need to be set up as departmental visitors, as they will not be eligible for extended access on their current student record. They should then go to the Security Systems Office for a visitor's card and not to the Student Enquiries Centre. .
