2019 Graduation Ceremonies

Timeframes and eligibility criteria for attending 2019 Graduation Ceremonies.

Invitations to the 2019 Graduation Ceremonies will be sent out via email to eligible students towards the end of February 2019.

Students will be invited to apply and given details of the provisional date and time of their graduation ceremony. This date will remain provisional until after the ticket application deadline when the schedule is confirmed.

The 2019 UCL Graduation Ceremonies will be held in the Summer months of July, August and September.

Awards conferred by the following deadlines will be invited to attend a 2019 ceremony: 

Undergraduate students01 July 2019
Taught Graduate and PGCE students01 April 2019
Research Graduate students28 April 2019

Departments will be able to run reports in Portico to check which students have been invited to a Ceremony. The reports can be found in the Awards, Assessments and Achievements section in the Progression and Awards container. The reports are:  

  • Graduation Ceremony Invitation Email 2018 Report
  • Graduation Ceremony Inv Eml Report (Spreadsheet)

Late Awards:

To ensure students receiving late PGT awards are invited to a Summer 2019 Graduation Ceremony, please submit your board paperwork or Chair’s Actions to the Faculty Office for approval and uploading to the Student Records SharePoint as soon as possible, but at the latest by Friday 15 March 2019.
