Here’s your August round-up of UCL equality, diversity and inclusion news and information.
New UCL Gender Working Group
UCL’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team are in the process of setting up a new Gender Working Group. The purpose of the group will be promote and coordinate good practice in gender equality at UCL.
If you would like to join the Gender Working Group please email equalities@ucl.ac.uk to request an expression of interest form. Completed expression of interest forms must be returned by Friday 6 September 2019.
RaceMatters at UCL
The RaceMatters at UCL forum is for networking, peer support, sharing ideas and articles of interest, forging scholarly connections and collaborations, organising formal and social events, and positively influencing policy and practice on race equality at UCL.
This summer there have been lots of interesting discussions and opportunities discussed via the RaceMatters email forum. To join the forum visit the UCL Equality and Diversity website.
UCL Equality, Diversity and Inclusion newsletter – sign up
UCL’s EDI team are revamping their newsletter. Previously it was sent out termly but from now on it will be sent out every six weeks.
Sexual harassment consultation
The government are inviting all employees to take part in a consultation on sexual harassment in the workplace. The consultation is available online and individual responses are required.
