Forthcoming consultation events on changes to the UCL regulations are listed here. Over 600 people attended these events in the 2015-16 session and the feedback received was invaluable in helping to shape improvements to the regulations. We hope to see you at some of the events for 2016-17.

Classification Consultation 

  We are also conducting an in-depth consultation on changes to the Classification regulations. The discussion papers include all of the main points and you can also explore the supporting data and materials:

The following tool allows you to test out the different options for Honours Degree Classification systems. It allows you to change the student’s marks and number of credits, change year weightings and drop different marks.


Town Hall Meeting

  UCL Town Hall Assessment Regulations Meeting

Introduced by Professor Anthony Smith, Vice-Provost (Education and Student Affairs)

This event is open to all UCL staff and students and will provide an overview of the main changes to the Assessment Regulations for 2017-18, including the roll-out of Late Summer Assessments across UCL. There will also be an opportunity to hear about and feed into plans for future initiatives, including changes to the regulations for Progression, Award and Classification.

Faculty Meetings   

A series of meetings has also been arranged for each faculty and will provide an opportunity to discuss the forthcoming changes in relation to your specific faculty or department. This will include the roll-out of Late Summer Assessments across UCL and accompanying changes to the regulations for 2017-18. There will also be an opportunity to hear about and feed into plans for future initiatives, including changes to the Progression, Award and Classification regulations.
