I am interested in the relationship between encoding and retrieval processes. How specific conditions or experiences during information acquisition shape the subsequent remembering.

I conducted my PhD at Universidad Autonoma in Madrid (UAM) under the supervision of Prof. JM Ruiz-Vargas studying the pattern of memory deficit in patients with Transient Global Amnesia.

I did a postdoctoral training with Prof. John Gabrieli at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) investigating the neural correlates of retrieval practice effect using fMRI.

As a postdoctoral researcher at Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL) I am studying how semantic false memories can be modulated by language use comparing bilinguals and monolinguals and using fMRI and behavioural techniques. This project is founded by Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship (European Union).

At UCL I am working on a project investigating the neural correlates of spatial learning and navigation.
