The Student Buddy Scheme

Are you interested in social media such as Facebook or Instagram? Do you like writing blogs and posts? Perhaps you like being involved in events and making videos. If any of these appeal to you, why not think about signing up to be a Student Buddy.

The Student Buddy scheme is an exciting and diverse role aimed at students that have a passion for study and university life and would like to represent their department and Faculty. If you are interested in social media, public speaking, writing blogs or organising events, getting involved as a Student Buddy can help to build your skills in those areas.

As a Student Buddy, you will play a crucial role in a wide range of key recruitment and conversion activities. Our work approaches range from long term programmes to one off events/activities all aimed at speaking to the future UCL students.

One of the great advantages of being a Student Buddy is that a lot of the projects are flexible which means you can easily fit it around your studies, you can even do some tasks from home. So even if you are an international student and have gone home for the summer or you live in another part of the UK and can’t be on campus, you can still get involved in many other activities and be paid for it in exactly the same way.

Our Student Buddy activities start in March and we are recruiting now.
