Little Stiances Field can be found nestling in the rural village of Newick, located in the East Sussex Weald. It was first identified as a potential archaeological site in the 1970s, and since 2010 it has been under investigation by pupils from the local primary school.
The Stiances Archaeological Project now runs every three years, and in 2022 won Engagement Project of the Year in the Council for British Archaeology/ Marsh Community Archaeology Awards.
