How can we make sense of the complex, compounding challenges facing the world and chart a workable course forward? This is the overarching question the GGI continued to grapple with in 2021-2022.

In 2020-21, despite the disruptions caused by Covid-19, the GGI has deepened and expanded its networks and partnerships, advanced its cross-disciplinary research agenda, and boosted public engagement activities.

In 2018-19, we have consolidated and expanded our network further, including through a newly awarded Horizon 2020 collaborative research grant on future scenarios in global governance and a Jean Monnet Network grant on China/EU economic governance

In 2017-18, we have engaged with colleagues across UCL and beyond to drive forward GGI institution-building, research and policy engagement activities and our busy public events programme.

The GGI has consolidated its operations and profile in 2016-17, establishing itself as a key centre for global governance scholarship and practice in London, the UK and internationally.

The GGI has established itself as a leading research platform on global governance and a distinctive venue for public policy dialogue.

The GGI has continued to build on strong foundations in its second year of operations, consolidating engagement with colleagues at UCL and beyond.
