Want to come to our public events?
All of our seminars, with the odd exception, are free to attend and open to all. If you want to come along, follow the links below or on our event page to register. You can also keep up to date with us via Eventbrite.
Bringing a large group?
If you plan to bring a group of 10 or more, then please contact spp@ucl.ac.uk and we will book you on. We love being joined by school and sixth-form groups, and encourage students to ask questions during the Q&A - don’t be shy!
We ask all participants to follow our Code of Conduct for Public Events (PDF).
Policy & Practice Seminars
Our ‘Policy & Practice’ seminar series includes presentations of scholarly research and talks by high-profile policy makers, practitioners and academics. These are public events, and run every Thursday evening during Terms 1 and 2 of the academic year.

What's on
All upcoming eventsThe seminars at UCL Political Science have been invaluable and eye-opening for our students. We have taken groups of sixth form students for the last few years, and it has provided them often with their first exposure to high level academia, as well as provoking their intellectual curiosity. Many of our UCAS early applicants reference the talks in their personal statements.
