BA Archaeology with Placement Year at ASE shortlisted for award

The Placement Year at Archaeology South-East, part of the four year BA Archaeology course at the UCL Institute of Archaeology, has been shortlisted for an Archaeological Achievement Award.

Archaeology South-East is excited to share that their Placement Year has been shortlisted for the 2025 Archaeological Achievement Awards in the Learning, Training and Skills category! 

This tailored programme gives UCL Institute of Archaeology students hands-on experience across the full spectrum of commercial archaeology—from fieldwork and survey to specialist analysis and archiving.

Find information about all the shortlisted projects on the Council for British Archaeology website, for this category and all others.

The winners will be announced in Belfast on the 28th November. You can watch along on the livestream on the CBA YouTube Channel.
