Economics Alumna Establishes £10,000 Bursary for MRes Students

This significant contribution will provide crucial financial assistance to a deserving student undertaking the demanding MRes programme, enabling them to focus on their research without undue financial burden. The bursaries will be awarded based on financial need, with a preference for students identifying as female with an interest in macroeconomics, macro-finance, or microfinance.

The inaugural Wendy Fung Fund bursary has been awarded to Alice Avenale, who will commence her MRes studies this September. Alice was selected for her outstanding academic record and research ambitions, embodying the very potential Wendy aims to foster.
