Monday 21st July: Whitechapel excavation showcase

Celebrate the discoveries from our 2015-19 excavations at Stepney Way! Meet the curators at a new exhibition of stories from the site at the UCL East Culture Lab (10am-4pm) and join us on a site tour of The Silk District (5-6pm) to see how the archaeology has been incorporated into the new development. Tuesday 22nd – Friday 25th July: ASE at The Highdown Big Dig
Highdown Hill, Worthing, SUSSEX
This July you can catch an exciting new excavation taking place at Highdown Hill, a site of national archaeological importance. ASE osteoarchaeologist Hayley will be on site from Tuesday 22nd to Friday 25th July in case any human or animal bones are discovered during the dig. There’s an amazing program of events associated with the dig, which runs from Sunday 20th July to Thursday 31st July. Find more information about the Highdown Big Dig.

Saturday 26th July: Meet the #IceAgeIsland collections!
Sir Francis Cook Gallery, Jersey
Meet some archaeological treasures that have been in the collections for many years, as well as some recent finds. The Jersey Heritage Collections team and the Ice Age Island team will be on hand to share the stories behind each item.
