I’m excited and privileged to become Interim Dean of SHS. The faculty undertakes cutting-edge research and education at the intersections of the humanities and social sciences. All of us – staff and students alike – are motivated to better understand the social, political, economic, cultural, and environmental processes that have shaped the world over time, as well as by the desire to find new and innovative ways of exchanging ideas about these topics with audiences and stakeholders well beyond UCL. I’m passionate about this mission and look forward to leading and collaborating with colleagues across the faculty during the next year.
