New book: 'How To Think About Religious Schools'

Adam Swift, Professor of Political Theory at UCL, is co-author of a new book about the ethics and regulation of religious schooling. Written in an accessible style, How To Think About Religious Schools: Principles and Policies, clearly sets out the various moral considerations at stake and suggests a method for moving from philosophical principles to policy proposals. The book ends with some concrete suggestions about how religious schools in England should be regulated - and about how religion should be taught in all schools.

Prof Swift joined an episode of UCL Uncovering Politics in which he talked about this particular project and his wider work on the normative dimensions of educational policy.
